🍕 Orders & Delivery
Most deliveries take 30-45 minutes from order placement to your door. This includes restaurant prep time and delivery. Farther restaurants (10+ miles) may take 45-60 minutes. You can track your order in real-time on our platform.
Yes! Once your order is accepted, you'll receive a tracking link that shows your driver's location and estimated arrival time. You'll also get notifications when your order is picked up and when the driver is nearby.
We're sorry if something went wrong! Contact us immediately through the app or email support@dormdash.com. We'll work with the restaurant and issue a refund or credit for missing/incorrect items. Take photos of the issue to help us resolve it faster.
Yes! We deliver to every dorm, apartment, and building on Pepperdine campus. Our student drivers know all the gates, shortcuts, and drop-off points to get your order to you quickly.
Currently, we only support immediate orders. Scheduled ordering is coming soon! For now, you can place an order when you're ready to receive it within 30-60 minutes.
💳 Payments & Pricing
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and digital wallets. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Tipping is optional but greatly appreciated! Most customers tip 15-20% for standard service. Consider tipping more for large orders, bad weather, or exceptional service. 100% of your tip goes directly to your driver.
Absolutely not! We believe in transparent pricing. You'll see all fees upfront: base delivery fee ($5.99), service fee (15%), distance fee ($0.39/mile), and far-away fee ($7.99 for 10+ miles). No surprise charges, no surge pricing.
If you cancel before the restaurant accepts your order, you'll receive a full refund. After the restaurant starts preparing your order, cancellations may incur a fee to cover food costs. Contact support if you need to cancel.
🔒 Account & Safety
Yes! We use Stripe, an industry-leading payment processor used by millions of businesses. Your card information is encrypted and never stored on our servers. We're PCI-DSS compliant and follow strict security standards.
All DormDash drivers are verified Pepperdine students. We conduct background checks and verify student status before onboarding. You're getting deliveries from fellow Waves who know the campus and community.
You can update your delivery address in your account settings or during checkout. Make sure to include your dorm/building name and room number for accurate delivery.
